The electro-mechanical spring brake AC series is an alternating current brake. The purpose of the brake is to determine the stopping of the rotational movement of a mechanical shaft. The correct functioning of the brake is guaranteed only by following the instructions on the page "Brake Selection".
Main features of the brake series AC are:
- Very sturdy structure;
- Easy assembly of the brake unit;
- Silent operation (< 70 dBA in accordance with directive 98/37/EEC);
- Good heat dissipation thanks to the aluminium die-cast structure and the electric motor fan;
- The coil of the electromagnet is completely cemented with epoxy resin, unless otherwise specified;
- The brake is supplied with the manual release on request;
- cCSAus n° 70043342
The on and off times as well as the functionality in insulation class F and functional class S1, with ventilation are guaranteed only if the nominal voltage remains within the coil's functional tolerance limits.
